Happy Birthday Pap!

We celebrated my dad's 61st birthday on Sunday! We all went to church together and then to a nice lunch at Capstone Grill and back to my parents house for some cake and ice cream. In typical fashion for us we also played some cards and had some laughs, which is one of my father's favorite things to do! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! WE LOVE YOU! My father's birthday always make me feel like the summer is coming to a close, it's hard to believe the kids go back to school in 2 weeks from today! We are all set for school, the new clothes, shoes, book bags and supplies are all bought and today Nathan got his hair cut, although it is a little shorter than he would have liked, I assured him it would grow back. We are trying to squeeze in all of our final summertime activities so today we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese, Thursday we are going to a Wildthings Game and Monday we are going with the Haddads to Idlewild. We will be finishing up our summer with our annual Block Party on the last Saturday of the month. It's amazing how the older you get the faster time goes by!
