Loving December!
Well the holiday season is slowing coming to an end. We are celebrating with family and friends and loving every minute of it! Sunday brought the arrival of my cousin Amy and her husband Scott and their kids, Amber and the twins Emily and Jonah. It is amazing how much Jonah looks like Scott and Emily looks like Amy, they both have a mini-me. They are almost 3 months old now and doing wonderfully. They couldn't be cuter or more loved. We are so blessed to have such a great family.
We have also had a few visit from some folks that live in the North Pole. Santa came to our house on Saturday to make sure everyone was being "nice" still. Our local Volunteer Fire Department was "nice" enough to bring him around to the boys and girls in South Park. We also got to see Mrs. Claus this evening at the South Park Library. She came to read the children some stories and answer any questions they had about Christmas and Santa. She had the inside scoop and let them in on several secrets. They even got a little present and got to do some crafts. Nothing says Christmas like Marshmallow snowmen! It is wonderful to see the children having so much Christmas spirit, it helps us to remember our childhood and all the magic that comes along with this time of year. We are going to Meder's tomorrow to see Santa and his reindeer. Kadence had her holiday school party today and Nathan's is on Wednesday...and then the big show! We can't wait! Everyday is an adventure!
