Goodbye Ribs...Hello Duck!

Well David is no longer pushing Chili's Baby Back Ribs. He officially quit working for Chili's Grill and Bar in September and was enjoying being home for a change for the last few weeks. He has been busy with some projects around the house, coaching Nathan's baseball team, golfing...a lot! He had his first official day at his new job yesterday, David now works for Aflac. Ironically his nickname for Kadence is his little duck and now his company logo is a duck...strange. He was hired as a Sales Account Executive, he will be getting his license in the next 2 weeks and will be actively selling insurance by the end of the month. He is really excited about not being in the restaurant business anymore. No more weekends, evenings and holidays! WOO HOO! His office is in McMurray and it takes him about 15-20 minutes to get to work, that sure beats the hour to hour and half he was driving for Chili's. Everything is great, Nathan had his picture day today at school, so cute, I can't wait to get his pictures back, he actually has his two front teeth this year. School is keeping me more than busy and Kadence just loves school! When David picks her up from school she runs into the house and yells for me "Mama!!! I'm back!!!", and quickly empties out her book bag to show me all the pictures that she has done. She's so adorable right now, and pretty much potty trained, finally! Well I hope everyone is well. Please say a prayer for my Grandmother, we found out this week that she has cancer and they are going to attempt radiation starting this week. As details emerge, I'll keep you posted. Thanks! In a world of uncertainty sometimes all you have is hope and prayer.
