Easter 2010

We celebrated our Easter festivities with the kids this past weekend. We always take them to Trax Farms in Finleyville to see the Easter bunny and have some fun at the farm. They got to go on an Easter egg hunt, ride a tractor (Kad's favorite), bike track on tricycles, fishing for eggs, and riding on the train. We were accompanied this year by my parents and then we all went to a nice relaxing lunch at The Beach House. When we came home we dyed our eggs and had some friends over to play. I e-mailed the Easter bunny and he was gracious enough to come to our house a week early to hide the kids eggs and deliver their baskets. He was harder on Nathan this year and it took him almost 40 minutes to find all of his eggs. Their baskets were filled with goodies and toys and the kids' smiling faces when they found them spoke volumes! We got all dressed up in our Easter outfits and let the kids pick where we would go for lunch, of course the picked their favorite, Olive Garden. It was a great family day out for the four of us. We are so busy sometimes that we don't get the chance to just hang out and enjoy each other, so it was a great weekend! Thanks Easter Bunny!
